I have been working a lot digital work the last months, so I have been trying to do doing some hand drawing lately. This is one I did the last couple of days.
I drew it, but didn’t totally make up the image by thought.

YCN competition advertising

This might not be the most effective advertising I have created,
but I’m kinda proud of the illustration, so I’m putting it out here =)
To be honest, I never thought I’d be able to create such an illustration, an as this was a haste creation during only 6-7hours, it think it’s okey.

A little flower brochure/poster

After my freelance job taking some pictures for a fruit, vegetable and flower company, I have been spending a lot of time looking at the pictures.
There where so many beautiful flowers and strange looking fruits.
I’ll but some pictures out later on.

This is a small brochure I have made, that will fold out to a poster.

I can do photography me

I love taking pictures, but don’t often find the time or bring the camera…
But during the summer I got my foot out the door and got some great shots.

I have always thought this company has a really great name, but that they also don’t use it to its full potential.
I have thought about it a lot before, but now I have done it =)

At fist I thought it was okey, but now I really like them.

PS. I have also made a new logo for them, but it doesn't want to upload as a big image, so you’ll have to look closely at it in the ad…

I have after some time been working on creating a name for a "company" of mine,
but have never been compleetly happy with what I come up with.
So I have desided to skipp all the vitty names that I wanted to use and go for a name
I have had my whole life =)
The simples sollutions is often the best.





(PS. If you have notice, I do use the name MajaneDesign some times,
but this is for my hand made art work)

MajaneDesign – earrings

During the last weeks I have been getting creative with my old friend FIMO =)
I love wearing unique and weird earrings, but I’m not big on spending money on silly looking stuff.
So I made my own “design line”

A visit to the the DogA today

The DogA stands for design and architecture (in Norway)
They had a designers marked this weekend, so I had to go for a look =)

I met and had a little chat with Celilie of http://www.gillesandcecilie.com/, she had a stand there.
A really nice girl, who kindly offered me some advice and gave me an open invitation to com by them when I’m in London.

There was a lot of great work to see at in there. There were so many people in was hard to get around. I was got there an hour after opening.Was nice though. I’ll have to remember to go back next year =)
